Return & Refund Policy

At TheToffeeJar, every order is packed with care and shipped with a little throwback energy. Because many of our products are edible, vintage, or delicate collectibles, returns are limited to maintain hygiene, quality, and authenticity.


Food & Edible Products

All candies, snacks, and edible products are non-returnable due to hygiene and safety reasons.

As our products are sensitive to temperature, slight changes in texture caused by heat or weather conditions are not considered defects.


Vintage & Fragile Items

Collectors’ comics, vinyl records, and boxed toys are packed with extra protective packaging.

Please open all packages carefully while unboxing to avoid accidental damage.


Collectibles Condition Policy

Many nostalgic products are vintage or collector-grade items and may naturally show signs of age.

Condition categories may include:

  • Mint

  • Near Mint

  • Very Good

  • Good

  • Fair

Minor shelf wear, age marks, or packaging imperfections may exist and will be clearly mentioned in product listings wherever applicable.


Vinyl Record Policy

We pack every vinyl like it’s headed straight to a 1997 bedroom stereo.

Vinyl records are graded using common collector standards:

  • Mint (M)

  • Near Mint (NM)

  • Very Good Plus (VG+)

  • Very Good (VG)

Opened records cannot be returned for preference-based reasons if the product matches the listing description.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Clear photos or an unboxing video

  • Your order details

Once verified, we will offer:

  • A replacement, or

  • A refund to your original payment method


Non-Returnable Cases

We are unable to process returns or refunds for:

  • Opened or partially consumed products

  • Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery

  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect product quality


Refund Timelines

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

As many of our products are nostalgic, vintage, and collectible in nature, slight wear, age marks, or original packaging imperfections may be part of the product’s character and are not considered defects unless specifically stated otherwise.
